For outdoor meetings please dress accordingly for the weather and bring lunch unless stated otherwise. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult with responsibility for them. Dogs are welcome but should be on a lead and under control throughout the event, please. For practical working days you will need gloves and durable outdoor clothing, although we may be able to loan gloves. Volunteers are especially welcome, however some work such as Himalayan Balsam control is normally for members and our partner organisations only. Balsam control is considered unsuitable for children under 16. We welcome non-members on our informal walks. If you wish to join a walk please contact us beforehand - see the Contacts page.

Indoor and business meetings are held at Gleadless Methodist Church side entrance - map reference SK384833 at Gleadless Townend, Sheffield 12, near to the Townend tram stop. Members are encouraged to attend business meetings to make their views known, particularly the Annual General Meeting.
